I've got 16 more days in the western hemisphere. More like 15 really. This blog is really just to record what I end up doing while spending 7 months in Bangalore, India. After my dad took a job there, the whole family decided it was a great opportunity for all of us to gain some international experience. I'm still here in Seattle, finishing off a semester of credit before I leave- to avoid having to go to school in India. I plan to take only 2 online classes. The rest of my time I hope to spend travelling and what not.
Anywho, the mom and I have an incredible amount of work to do in the next 2 weeks. We sold our house and have to move everything out before we leave. One of my two brothers comes home in a week from a NOLS program in Mexico. He'll have one last week in our house before leaving for good. We plan to come back to Seattle, but have no idea where to start looking and aren't going to worry about it until we have to. Parting with this house is the worst part of the whole adventure.
All I have to do is finish my semester strong so that I barely have to think about school after I leave. This also means I'm scrunching the three weeks worth of work that I'll be missing into the next 2. 5 weeks of work in 2 weeks. It happens. On top of that, I'm trying to stay ass busy ass possible with friends and what not before I leave. I just spent a weekend with a cousin that I hadn't seen in years.
So I doubt I'll write much more for this blog until I either am leaving or have recently arrived in Bangalore. Speaking of which, this blog is no work of a pro. If you find a typo, thats just fine.
At this point the fact that this change is right around the corner is hard to believe. These last few months have gone by in a flash. Fun and all that good stuff.
